Crescent City BikeFest returns October 24
Second annual Crescent City BikeFest, Saturday, October 24, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., on Central Avenue.
BikeFest returns to downtown Crescent City with vintage motorcycles, a classic car cruise-in, a motorcycle swap meet, arts and crafts vendors, food trucks, and live music, including Framing The Red. The Central Florida Motorcycle Drill Team will ride in procession, a first for this event. A 50/50 raffle benefits local pet rescue. Admission is free.
Last year’s BikeFest brought about 5,000 people downtown.
This is only the second BikeFest. The first one filled Central Avenue with motorcycles, vendors, food trucks, and a classic car cruise-in. This year the Central Florida Motorcycle Drill Team rides in procession for the first time, and the 50/50 raffle goes to local pet rescue.
Framing The Red and the Central Florida Motorcycle Drill Team are on the bill.
Live music includes the Nashville band Framing The Red. The Central Florida Motorcycle Drill Team will ride in procession. Arts and crafts vendors, a motorcycle swap meet, and food trucks line Central Avenue. The 50/50 raffle benefits local pet rescue. Vendor fees are collected only by Anna Finley and Christina Marie.
Free to attend, and the whole event is outdoors on Central Avenue.
Plan on a full afternoon. The event runs 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with motorcycles, classic cars, vendors, and food trucks along the street. Bring sunscreen, a hat, and water. Wear closed shoes. Downtown parking fills up, so arrive early and leave the street open for the procession. Admission is free.
Second annual BikeFest, and the next downtown event is six days later.
BikeFest is the second year of this event, presented by the Crescent City Downtown Partnership, a Florida Main Street community. The next event on the calendar is Yappy Hour and the pet parade on October 30. Both are on the Partnership event page.
